At least when the Democrats blame Bush for starting an unnecessary war, slashing financial regulations which tanked the economy and making sweetheart deals with big business, he actually started an unnecessary war, slashed financial regulations which tanked the economy and made sweetheart deals with big business.

I saw Elizabeth Warren on Bill Maher a couple of weeks ago, and she just impresses the shit out of me. And she makes the GOP crazy because she consistently shines a light on their shady financial dealings that screw the American people.

You probably weren't following me then, I a couple years ago, I wrote a full post on pursuing a game ball. You should check it out: http://darwinfish2.blogspot.com/2009/06/allure-of-olde-game-ball-update.html bluzdudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05991272670722362652noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-329507352453931374.post-8302071375291206722015-05-22T21:45:10.831-04:002015-05-22T21:45:10.831-04:00"The GOP is only against influence-peddling w..."The GOP is only against influence-peddling when someone else is doing it." preach it, brother! God I am so sick of Republicans' hypocrisy and fear mongering - they're going to recycle this Benghazi garbage to make Hillary look bad, but they won't take any responsibility for Iraq. They give Obama crap for the NSA leaks but they're the ones who drafted the Patriot Act. morons.

I'm with you, I'll vote for Hillary but I'd prefer Warren. Really wish populism wasn't be such a divisive issue - corporate greed and special interests are killing this country.

Anyway, enough political soapboxing (I cant let it out anywhere else)... you shouldn't feel obligated to give a kid your foul ball. Again, you're right on with this - guys that push women and children out of the way to get a ball or complete jerks - but if you caught or grabbed it on your own it's yours. I've been on both sides of this: I was at a Blue Jays game in Toronto when our row won free hats. Instead of each fan in the row being handed a hat (or voucher) the usher tossed them to us from about 3-5 ft away. There was a dad with his young kid in front of us, and I let the kid have his hat cause it's the right thing to do...right? Well the dad snatched a hat for himself and a hat for his kid...and promptly left the game. And of course they somehow did not have enough for everyone in the row so I was SOL (possibly because the dad & kid were sharing a seat?) So I learned my lesson: never trust Canadians.

I have exactly one foul ball, from an Independent minor league game featuring a 45 year-old Rickey Henderson. The ball rolled about 15 ft from me and I picked it up. I start to tell my friend and the fans nearby that I had never "caught" a foul ball before when some 8yr old kid comes out of nowhere and asks "can I get your ball?" Before I even have a chance to answer the guys around me (who may have had too much too drink) start shouting at him "NO! It's is first ball! Go away!" I felt bad for the kid. I mean...I would have said no, but I wouldn't have shouted at him!Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10268829182522679026noreply@blogger.com
