I don’t think that little diversion cost him anything in foot speed. Our DB is pretty fast too, and he caught him. I give Jacoby props for stepping up and admitting it. So the press runs his quote, then continues whipping up the public about it anyway.

It’s funny though. The Steelers beat writer in the Pittsburgh paper thinks Tomlin did it on purpose, and should be heavily sanctioned. Is there any chance in hell that a Baltimore Sun writer would ever say the same thing in similar circumstances? I say there’s a zero percent chance.
bluzdudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05991272670722362652noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-329507352453931374.post-18256758359130024072013-12-02T10:23:42.610-05:002013-12-02T10:23:42.610-05:00I do want to note that the actual player who did t...I do want to note that the actual player who did the running and was caught, was quoted after the game to say that he would have been caught anyway (and this pissed him off) and the Tomlin thing was no biggie and part of the game. So, somewhat classy on Jacoby's part, at least. The media are really the culprits in making it a big thing. Michigan man hubby volunteered to transport daughter back to D.C. so he would have an excuse not to watch as he feared his team would get slaughtered. I did not watch and enjoyed the peace and quiet (and did office work). Then I received a text from a friend who was watching and I heard all about the ending. I just don't understand the coaching.
