We're back from our Florida vacation long weekend and I can't say I'm really happy about it. I mean, would you want to leave this?
I didn't think so. But return, we did, leaving temps in the mid-80s to land in a sweltering Baltimore cooking at 105 degrees.
I'll have a full update tomorrow night but suffice to say, we had a great time. The facility was great, the weather was beautiful and the company was grand. The food and drink? Merely exceptional!
I need another vacation day to rest up from all the resting up.

Sweet baby Jesus! You stayed THERE?!
Forgive me, Father, for I AM COVETING BLUZ'S VACATION SO HARD RIGHT NOW.
In the spirit of "misery loves company", welcome back! Can't wait to hear the tales. 1st day back to work after vacation blows. Good luck.
BG,
No argument... we were lucky to find such a fine venue. But seriously, they DO take a bill to your ass. Gonna have to live pretty lean for a while.
DG,
Oh God, I HATE that first day back. How do you deal with the trivialities of work after you've been laying around that pool for 4 days?
Are those your legs sticking out of the water in the pool? I'm impressed! How long can you hold your breath?
Glad you're back safely!
That's why I don't take vacations in the Summer. It's just too hard to come back to work!
Boy, you live the hard life, huh?
I was thinking about you yesterday when they said how hot it was in Baltimore! I thought 94 was bad!
Judie,
Nope, I was taking the picture. Those were just random legs.
Bagger,
It’s a price I’m willing to pay. Have to take the bad with the good… experience the depths to appreciate the heights! And all the other clichés you can think of…
Cassie,
Oh, like you’ve never had a nice vacation before… (OK, you’re young… maybe you haven’t yet. But now you have something to look forward to… one day.)
Yeah, we’re stewing in our own juices today. I stepped outside for lunch and burst into flames, like a non-sparkling vampire.
Welcome back! That place looks fabulous!
Great recap of a great weekend celebration. All the kids and grandkids, Bluz included, made an extra effort to treat us and all quite well, thus good times and a great blog entry to help remember. thanks Bluz guy. However, We need a do over in a few. dad
Awwww! I'm disappointed! Those were really nice legs!
Judie,
Mine are better.
